An engineer uses science and mathematical principles for solving the technical problems. This branch is made up of many sub disciplines that are concerned with the mechanics, kinematics and energy of physical objects.

This is one of the oldest and broadest engineering disciplines. The practitioners of mechanical engineering are also known as a mechanical engineer. A mechanical engineer plays a significant role in several fields such as automated manufacturing, transportation, environmental control, transportation, computer fields, fossil fuel, nuclear power and many more.
